Wood Magic Resources for volunteers

Info, videos and lesson plans

Jacqueline leads group

This information is intended for those who will be assisting with the WOOD MAGIC Forest Fair programs in South Carolina. You can find work schedules, directions, guide information, a contact list, objectives and lesson plans below. The information and schedules will be updated as needed.

Volunteers are expected to work from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. To conduct these programs we need approximately 28 volunteers each day to serve as guides, instructors, and helpers. Each volunteer is given a t-shirt, lunch, and the satisfaction that they have helped provide the youth of our state an important pro-forestry experience.

To volunteer with Wood Magic Forest Fair, please complete the below WMFF Volunteer Sign Up Form. The online work schedules are updated just once weekly (typically Monday mornings), so please follow the instructions listed on the form. If you cannot help with your scheduled volunteer position or any of the information does not look correct, please contact Beth as soon as possible at bfoley@scfc.gov or 803-896-8855. This is very important in order to find a replacement in time for each event.
