Acknowledgement of pricing fluctuation

I understand and acknowledge that the prices contained in this report reflect average stumpage prices for the quarter from timber sales of all sizes spread across a variety of ownerships and a large geographic area.
These reports should be used as a general guide for price and price trends only and should not be used to substitute for a professional appraisal. Stumpage price is the amount a buyer should pay directly to the owner of standing timber.
The actual price that a landowner should receive for a tract of timber might be considerably higher or lower than the prices in this report due to differences in timber volume, timber quality, accessibility, and effects of local supply and demand.
Since many factors influence the price of timber, landowners are encouraged to contact a consulting forester for assistance in marketing their timber.  These professionals can help ensure that the best possible price is obtained and will look out for the interests of the seller.
